We were rained out today so only a few of us met indoors to talk about plans for the future of the club including making a Zine. The three of us had a chance to draw and paint beautiful fall items we had gathered (ferns, leaves and sweet birch).

Brooks Woodland Preserve, Petersham, Ma. on Quaker street Our nature journal group explored this trail, observing many types of fungus, including "witches butter". We also observed various mosses, ferns and the beautiful Mocassin Brook . Somebody even noticed berries on a Jack in the Pulpit plant. We all had a quiet moment to journal. The weather was perfect and this fall we have had plenty of rain, what a relief!
